I highly recommend Vein Specialists of Geneva and Dr Kevin Kern. I had suffered from large varicose veins on my legs (with pain) for years and had done a lot of research into treatments and finding the right doctor. I found THE BEST. At our initial consultation, Dr Kern thoroughly explained the entire procedure, drawing it out for me to see. Throughout this process he always asked if I had any questions. I am a complete baby for pain, and one of the things I was most hesitant about was reading online about people saying that the actual treatment was painful and for weeks later their legs hurt so bad. This was not the case at all. A numbing shot (think much better than the Novocain shot at the dentist) was about it. During treatment Dr Kern would always ask how I was doing, how I was feeling, etc. After treatment, I did not experience anything painful in any part of both of my legs that were treated. Dr Kern has many years of experience and obviously knows what he is doing! Thank you so much Dr Kern, my varicose veins which were so prominent before are gone.
Dr. Kern and his staff put you at ease from the start, and are very compassionate and sensitive about your comfort, as you move along in the process. Having had vein treatment 8 years prior, I found this time to be faster and less restrictive, after the treatments. I am very pleased with the results and would highly recommend Vein Specialists of Geneva. I also want to add that the office (being new) is very attractive and impeccable.
Staff is very friendly. You get into a room and seen in a timely manner. The Dr. is very knowledgeable and they take time to for you to ask questions. Would highly recommend.
I am so happy with the results of the services I had done here! I had the ablation procedures and sclerotherapy plus spider vein treatments. Dr. Kern, takes time to thoroughly explain what he is doing and make sure you are comfortable while he performs them. He is a great doctor with a fun personality and atmosphere at his office-loved being greeted by his sweet dog at the door! and he has great music playing, nice distraction! In addition, his team-Sam ,Eckta and Joan are so nice! I was nervous at first to have it done, so thank you all for making the experience easy and successful!
Dr. Kern gave excellent, compassionate treatment to my leg issues. My legs are already feeling better with less throbbing, heaviness and fatigue. The staff is friendly, always greeting you with a smile! I am looking forward to my next appointment. 😊

Dr. Kern, and all of hid staff are wonderful. They exceed the expectations on their website. I first saw Dr. Kern in 2019 and was told that the procedures were not necessary yet. I returned in 2020 and was told the procedures could be done but I put it offf due to a hectic schedule. Finally, I moved forward this month and now wish I hadn’t waited. Dr. Kerns office is conveniently located in Geneva and easy to find and get to. Everyone at the office is great. They are friendly and knowledgeable, and put your mind at ease. Don’t wait if you need it. Highly recommended.
