Doctor Kern and his staff are AWESOME! I felt like a friend stopping by for some help with a problem. Very welcoming and professional in every aspect! Every aspect was explained in detail so I knew what to expect. Even their mascot, Nicky, the German Pointer was quite welcoming. Michelle, Doctor Kevin’s PA was really knowledgeable and just plain awesome! Joan, the front end manager was flawless and even made sure there was half and half for my coffee at my appointments. Love this place and it’s staff! Oh, by the way, my legs look waaay better and feel great. Thanks Again Guys Your Friend, John PS, I used to get Charlie Horses in the morning, when I’d stretch when waking up, THEY ARE COMPLETELY GONE! What a fantastic thing to get rid of a medical issue that was terribly uncomfortable. Thank you Doctor Kern and “The Gang”.
What brought me to the vein specialist with Dr. Kern in elk Grove Village was because I had a vein rupture and was spurting blood. I found them and during my first consult/visit he explained thoroughly the conditions of my vein issues in my legs/procedures that would eliminate the problems and help cosmetically. In addition, he shared his background And took all the time I needed to understand my concerns. I’m now towards the end of my treatment and I can’t say enough about how wonderful, friendly, funny and professional a person Dr. Kern is coupled with the staff! He wanted to know about me and every visit would follow up with something I shared. I wouldn’t hesitate for a minute to refer Dr. Kern to anybody that has vein issues in their legs! He was kind enough to even do extra cosmetic injections on the veins in my feet that insurance didn’t cover at no charge as well – because he deeply cares for the people he helps. 😊

Everyone is so very nice and friendly. I came in feeling nervous and anxious. I left feeling well informed about my diagnosis and treatment plan. The office dog also helped to calm my nerves along with getting a clear understanding of my situation. Dr Kern is very supportive and explained everything in away I could understand. Dr. kern and his staff are wonderful. I wish I had known about them before I had other incomplete and unsuccessful vein procedures. My legs look better than they have for decades. Sam is excellent at treating spider veins. I could not recommend this practice more highly.
